If you are feeling like "I am not good enough" or "I am a failure" you are among many parents feeling this way...

Parenting is hard! Much of the time it is also unrewarding as kids don't listen, talk back and flat out disrespect.

Perhaps you already had these negative belief systems before you became a parent which were then compounded by the challenges of parenting.

The problem with limiting beliefs is that we keep reinforcing them which makes them stronger and unlikely to change.
Living with a set of limiting beliefs is like having colored eye glasses through which you view the world. Thus everything that happens to you is interpreted through this lens and counted as evidence which proves the limiting belief right.

It is not easy to change these belief systems but it is possible and I also believe necessary in order to live a fulfilling life. This work is especially important for parents to be able to parent without being triggered.

One way to begin shifting your old patterns is to expand your ways of being into unconditional love and lovingkindness.

My 10-day lovingkindness course will open your heart and helps you live life from a place of lovingkindness, so that you can become less triggered, more patient and present with your kids.

Loving Kindness

I share about my experience doing this challenge, give you all the golden nuggets and help you how to apply all this to parenting.

Video lesson

This meditation is about sending lovingkindness for a benefactor who is someone who has positively impacted your life. Someone who has loved you unconditionally and supported you beyond any expectations.

Video lesson

This meditation is about sending loving kindness to a neutral person. A person we don't feel one way or another. Perhaps a store clerk or someone we come in contact with once in a while.

Video lesson

This meditation is about sending loving kindness to a successful friend. I thought of my friend who is very successful in her business, has a beautiful family and lives in an absolutely magical place called Puerto Rico.

Video lesson

This meditation is about sending loving kindness to a suffering friend. I thought of my friend who has been having a hard time for some time now. As I was sending her my phrases of lovingkindness, I recalled how once when she was expressing her pain to me, I immediately jumped into giving her information and solutions.

Video lesson

This meditation is about sending loving kindness to a difficult friend or person. Well, let me tell you that I had a lot of people to choose from for today's meditation! In fact, I could not settle on one person so I am sending loving kindness to several people in my life who have mistreated me in some ways.

Video lesson

This meditation is about sending lovingkindness to a group of people. On day 7 Sharon invites us to focus our lovingkindness practice to a group of people, but also include the opposite of that group as well. For example, if you send lovingkindness to your family, you would also send it to people who are not your family.

Video lesson

This meditation is about sending lovingkindness for all beings. Day 8 of this lovingkindness practice expands our hearts even further to include ALL beings in this world.

Video lesson

Now that we have experienced several different lovingkindness meditations, it is time to start practicing it so that it can become a state of mind, rather than just an illusive, fleeting momentary experience.

Video lesson

My takeaway from this last meditation is to truly develop a compassionate heart so that no matter what you are feeling, you can be there for yourself without judging and criticizing. This way you can live a fulfilling life of freedom and love.
