For the past 25+ years, Dr. Steiner-Adair's work as a clinical psychologist, researcher, author and consultant has converged on one fundamental mission: Ensuring that today’s students – our children – have not just the technological tools they need as they inherit the AI future, but the tools of our humanity – the empathy, ethics, social and emotional intelligence and DEI competencies they need to survive and thrive in our ever-changing interconnected world. She speak at schools and conferences worldwide, working with students of all ages, educators. Since the pandemic, she has been doing webinars for conferences, schools, parenting consultation and therapy online while hibernating in Maine.
Dr. Catherine Steiner-Adair a clinical psychologist and consultant, and author of the award-winning book, The Big Disconnect: Protecting Childhood and Family Relationships in the Digital Age. She is an expert in child development, education, and family relationships, and a frequent keynote speaker and workshop leader for parents, educators, health professionals and industry leaders worldwide. She works with school leaders to develop initiatives that strengthen resilience and all the elements of wellbeing, adapting best practices in using technology while minimizing the risks it poses at school and home. Catherine was for 20+ years a Clinical Instructor and Research Associate at Harvard Medical School, and has been a resource for the media throughout her career.
