Dr. Madigan is an Associate Professor and Canada Research Chair in Determinants of Child Development at the University of Calgary and the Alberta Children’s Hospital Research Institute. Her research is focused on understanding how early experiences, including exposure to digital technology, can help and/or hinder children’s learning and behavior. She is the recent recipient of the World Association for Infant Mental Health Early Career Award.
Her work has been widely covered in the media, including in The New York Times, TIME, BBC, CNN, The Guardian, Good Morning America and in the documentary, Kids vs Screens.
